I’m a co-founder and partner at enso, where we help companies design the future.
Originally from southern England, I’m now enjoying more light in southern California, with the wonderful @KerryKB.
I like to create from optimism.
Three main influences led me to how I spend my time:
- growing up in a rural village that offered little programming, so compelled wandering exploration (therefore: travel, photography, learning about seemingly random things that take my interest)
- a family and culture that suggested business is a vehicle to creating interesting new things
(therefore: going into business strategy, starting a business that designs interesting things for other businesses)
- a sense of optimism, for people and the world
(therefore: trying to find shared success, rather than building extractive/ cynical/ purely profit-oriented nonsense)
I’ve lived in the logic world (economics, law, corporate finance, business strategy) and the cultural world (literature, history, travel, photography, street art). That fused into being a strategist, focused on creating new initiatives that add value to the world. I’m a Gates Foundation Goalkeeper and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
My greatest joy is exploring life and new possibilities, whether that’s a new kind of business, a new way of being, or a new shared mission. I’m optimistic about you.
